One just can't enough emphasize how easy Roulette is! Learning how to play Roulette is challenging, but once you master the basics, it will become a really profitable game.
Gamblers know that there are practically two types of Roulette: American Roulette and European Roulette. Common sense dictates to play European Roulette as this one features a better house advantage. The reason is simple: the American version has an additional number (00), which of course makes the odds more volatile.
On your marks, get set...
Once you find a roulette table, a spinning wheel and a betting zone you can start saying that the game begins. As you already know it by now, the roulette wheel can have either 37 or 38 slots, depending on the type of the game. A small ball is spun on the roulette wheel and from this point on, luck and nothing else is the one to determine your future. The overall aim of every player is to guess where the ball will land. The different betting options will of course spice the outcome of the game.
Two types of Roulette Tables
1. Single zero alias European Roulette
The Roulette wheel is equipped with 37 slots, 36 represent numbers ranging from 1 to 36 and there is of course the 37th, also known as the 0 slot. The reason why European Roulette is the best option to choose from is simple: the house advantage is 50% smaller by removing the 00 (see American Roulette).
2. Double Zero alias American Roulette
Think twice before deciding to find Single zero variations on the US market. The American representative features 38 numbers and thus the house advantage is doubled. Beginners and weekend players should therefore choose the European counterpart whenever they have the opportunity.
