This year the Golden Nugget Casino in Las Vegas and Phil Ivey organize the first Budding Ivey Foundation Charity Poker Tournament. It’s going to take place the 1st July and it’s going to be a no limit event hosted by a famous Tournament director Matt Savage. This event will be combined with the “The Grand” poker series, which already started at the Golden Nugget.

The Budding Ivey Foundation is a non profit group which procures educational opportunities and it helps children at risk to be more self-confident. This year the program is enlarged and it gives children the opportunity to participate in learning programs.

Ivey remembered that this year the North Las Vegas children’s Academy closed because of a lack of money and he himself wants to do everything to open that Academy again.

The recommended start donation to participate for the fundraiser is $ 1,000 and afterwards another $ 500 which are optional.

The Golden Nugget will host other two events, which are the BIGNC (Budding Ivey Game Night Celebration) and the Sixth Annual WSOB (World Series of Barbecue). Afterwards there is also going to be a private party for all poker participants and it will take place at the Tank, the Golden Nugget’s latest marine – life attraction.
