eCOGRA, the UK-based group, presents a positive side of online gambling and it assures that things stay genuine.

Recently the group organized a responsibility seminar. In this seminar the principal topics were how to gamble with responsibility and how to identify and deal with problem gamblers.

About 40 gaming professionals were invited to talk on that seminar. The former UK Gaming Board Chief Inspector, GamCare Trustee, and eCOGRA Independent Director, Bill Galson said that a responsible gambling policy is a critical investment for every online gambling operation. Besides he claimed that eCOGRA made big steps in the gambling area, because it developed a set of practice requirements for online gambling operations. In this last seminar one of the subjects was to coach managers how to apply these tools.

eCOGRA isn’t the only group, which delivers the educational program. There is also a British organization called GamCare, which is interested in responsible gambling and collaborates with eCOGRA. GamCare’s member Amy Webster delivered many lectures at the seminar. She talked about the prevention of underage gambling, gambling addictions and how to deal with compulsive players.

The registered charity is important because it helps every gambler to solve his gambling problem.
