The United States have to modify the their UIGEA (Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act) for a new online Gambling law, in order to show the other nations that the lack of respect for the international agreements is ended.

One of these agreements is with the European Union.

The European Commission has warned much time ago the USA that their laws on the online casinos violates the economic agreements with Europe. Finally,  Obama administration puts into effect them, has demonstrated the wish to adapt US laws to such agreements.

The Congressman Barney Frank has been proponent from years of the  online casinos legalization. He has tried to overturn to the UIGEA for years.

The Republicans had the control, but now, with the democratics, we have an  hope for a new Internet Gambling law in the US.

Frank believes that all the citizens of the United States have the right to play with money to casino the online, in the privacy of their houses. Some Republicans in past had even fought for the freedom in Internet.

 

Senator Robert mendez had proposed a similar legislation in Senate for legalize the Online Poker. Frank, wants to legalize every type of Internet Gambling.
